I was just in today and mine had three or four piles of clamps. They were all by Stanley and all looked pretty good. They had parallel cabinet clamps which I have never seen at the store as well as the the auto adjusting "Quick-Grip" type. They were all going from between $5-$15. I got a 4p set of 24" and a 4p set of 48" parallel clamps for $120 + tax. I am thinking this is about 1/2 price.

I got a couple of the "quick-grip" clamps with the auto feed. They work pretty well and have decent clamping pressure but not nearly as good as the Irwin XP. In fact it's rated about half the clamping pressure (500+ vs 200+). The auto feed is cool and I think will be great for quickly holding jigs down on the table. They were being sold for $10 for various sizes.I reject your reality and substitute my own. -
The Big Lots in Bristol CT has the 12" & 18" for $10 ea and the 24", 36", 48", & 60" for $15 each. Can't say I was overly impressed with them so I passed (maybe I got spoiled by the 31" Bessy K-Bodies at Lowes for $17 and the 36" Stanley deep reach Bar Clamps that Big Lots had a couple weeks ago for $8). Big Lots also had a lot of Stanley "Quick Grips", 1/2" & 3/4" pipe clamps, spring clamps, C clamps, miter clamps (I bought 4 of the miter clamps - seem on par with the Pony & Irwin ones), and 10" hand screws.Comment

Well, I got the news belatedly on another board (not much time for web-surfing these days). After scouring all the BLs in my neck of the woods, I scored 2 each in 18, 24, & 48". I don't see any quality issues as Waddle mentioned.
If they mark down the Columbian F-clamps some more, I may have to take some home.Comment
