WORX WT431K Revolver BladeRunner 15 Amp 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw, $51.93 shipped

My buddy has one of these, and it is a fine saw, especially for $52.

I personally didn't care for the rotating handle.

It has a good dust port which seemed to work well when I used it.

I bought one last summer and I like it. Now the price is under $50.00. Excellent buy.

I wondering if this saw comes in both the left and right version. The amazon site does't say. Thanks ace01

          Guide Channel in base plate

I bought this on sale last summer. Does anyone know what accessory fits in that guide channel in the base plate?

It's more than likely for a rip fence guide similar to this one by Milwaukee.

              Top side or bottom side?

The top would be the previous mentioned edge guide.

I thought the Worx was one of maybe two saws, that had a channel, that was supposably for the euro guide rails. (may be remembering that wrong)

$46 now, but I would not buy this saw as I have read parts are not really available. The $90 Milwaukee is a better deal at HD. and it will outlast most any saw except a wormdrive.

I don't know about the availability of parts, but as far as how the saw works I have to say that it's a good deal at $50.

You make a very valid point. With the hourly labor rates charged by tradesmen and repair shops today, it certainly wouldn't be worth it to have any tool fixed that only costs $50.

                      Grove

The Grove I am talking about is in the bottom plate (on the bottom side) and runs front to back parallel to the blade.

I just got mine yesterday ordered it thursday WOW!!
Anyhow, if its anywhere near as good as the Worx Recip saw its a steal.
That saw is built like a tank and used daily. It has lasted longer than a yellow and RED recip!!!
Every tool you own is broken, you just don't know it yet :-)
