I am not sure if what you got was the Rigid 6.5 "Fuego" Kevin, or the old style 6.5 that maybe (?) the Fuego replaced. But.. I just purchased the "Fuego" 6.5 at HD for $119 I think. I got to use a friend's at his home and was somewhat impressed which I don't get easily.
I have a PC 324 magnesium which is very light and a powerful 15 A. But.. the main reason I use a circular anymore is to cut down large sheets of ply for chest dust shields and drawer bottoms. I take them to the TS after sizing down.
The "Fuego" runs 13 A but the way they geared it makes it as powerful as the PC 15A. Much lighter.. great egronomics in my hand and I just love the feel and power coming from that light-weigh that fights in the heavy-weight division. The dust control is not great as on the PC which can direct saw-dust whatever direction you want... but I cut most ply down outside anyway.
I was going to sell my PC but.. because of the dust issue will keep it to use in winter when I have to cut down ply inside even though that is only about two months of the year in Atlanta.
Have fun with your circular as that is a good price....
I highly considered the Sawboss in cordless, messmaker. It does have the smaller foot-print and much lighter than my PC magnesium. But two things made me detour. When you add the battery it goes back up in weight and the Porter Cable uses the Ni Cads or whatever you call them.
If.. if... the Sawboss had Lithium which I am totally sold on at this point as I really didn't have a lot of faith in cordless tools... I would have probably jumped on the "Boss" as it wieghs only slightly more. Both have a good feel to me but the Fuego just fits my hand almost perfectly. We all have different hands and what feels right to one may not feel right to another.
Could I be happy with the Boss? You betcha.. I only wish they would go to Lithium which they probably will. Of course after I have gone another direction always.. Always...
I just purchased mine several weeks agp at $119 I believe (may have been $109) and NOW they go on sale or close-out.. whatever? All I can say is Home Depot can kiss my southern you know what!

HD will PM for you up to 30 days. I have the saw and it has been my #1 saw for sheets goods. I almost never use my cordless saws now. Light ,cuts fast, can see the cut line even though it is rt. blade from the inside because of the design, has a blower to remove the saw dust from the cut line too. I bought the 24th Ridgid blade, cuts very well , looks like Freud made it with a TiN coating even over the teeth. They had a price reduction about 9 months ago $97, but it is $119 here, now. Maybe a local clearance? The main issue is that blades are more expensive than the 7 1/4" and not many finish blades. There is a lot of plastic and I worry about the mount, but the LSA should cover that. Paid $36 for a forrest finish blade thru amazon.
BTW, I added grease to the gear box and it is much quieter now.
