Ridgid AC9940 Miter Saw Utility Vehicle

I saw the subject tool at my local HomeDepot (SW burbs of Chicago). It's a sturdy fold-up miter saw stand w/roller suports. Regular price $199 on clearance for $99.

Does anyone have any experience with this tool?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I have the Sears version, which I got for just under $80. If the Ridgid is the same one I've been seeing for a while, $99 seems like a great deal; much better than the Sears.

I may have to go check that out. Thanks for the heads-up, Mike. I looked at HD and Rigid websites for specs but no luck, even in the manual.

I own the Rigid and I love it. It is very easy to use and if you have to mobilize your mitre saw at all, like I do, you will find this tool to be a God send. My father owns the craftsman. It's ok, but not as easy to use and doesn't have the rollers and quality of the Rigid. For the money, this is an absolute steal.

You better get back to that HD as fast as you can. This is a great price for the Ridgid MSUV. Almost every time I'm in HD I look at this and I've yet to find any part of it that is cheaply made. Well worth the money at $199 but an absolute bargin at $99. It's almost worth the price of the gas to drive down there and pick one up.[^]
