Performax Mini Lathe $99 at Menards

Not sure if this is just local, but this is marked down from $149 to $99 until May 5th.

Not an amazing lathe by any stretch, but for $99 it may be enough to decide whether you want to get into turning or not...

Menards used to sell a lathe made by Wilton. I wonder if it is the same lathe now relabeled. My dad and brother own the Wilton lathe, it was somewhat underpowered.

Isn't Wilton part of the Jet family of tools? The Performax may just be rebadged Wiltons...

It's the same lathe as far as I can tell. I own the Wilton; the Performax looks identical other than the color scheme.
