[just started]

What do you say at Lowes to get them to take it? Will it work at the Borg or anywhere else also?

add zip code

you might want to start here.
this will add your zip code to printed coupon and give you addresses of local ACE

As far as using at other "hardware" stores as always it YMMV depending on manager you get and maybe how close the local Ace Hdw is to HD or Lowes
If you can get a copy of the particular stores policy of matching competitors from there website
print that out and take with you.

competitor coupon

All of the boxes take competitors coupons,

What I say when I give the coupon to them, is that I saw someone using one of these coupons here yesterday. Then they cannot say they don't accept them.
