The Lowe's in our area has the Dewalt735 on sale for $455.00. I just purchased one three weeks ago and love it.
I purchased mine from Sears, as they had it priced at $549.00, I found the Lowe's price on the net and printed it out. Went to the local Sears and they have that price match thing where they give you an additional 10%. I also had a Sears coupon for 10% off tools. So I ended up paying like $394.66 after taxes etc.

That's usin' your noggin' Mike. Very good deal! I wish I would have thought of that one. I will look for that to happen again. Actually I bought my DW733 at Sears. They were having a Christmas sale with another 10% off everything for Craftsman Club (they don't do that anymore). I bought the planer for
~$250 out the door. It also came with an extra set of re-sharpenable knives, and the dust collection attachment. It has been a pretty good planer, but I would like to upgrade someday to a 3 knife, 2 speed planer.Comment

I just picked up a dw735 at home depot for $381 plus tax. Lowes had it on sale at 15% off ($424). I printed the price off their website with the store location. The print-out also showed it was in stock. Home Depot gave me 10% off with their meet and beat policy.
Today is the last day of Lowes 15% sale so if you want to get HD or sears to beat the price now is the time to do it.Comment
