This has some nifty looking features, compared to the b&d. I looked it up in England, couldn't really find any reviews for it though, goes for about the same price there. Could be great or a complete pos, hard to tell from a 2 inch video. Good luck if you get one, let us all know for future reference.

        Got it Today 3/28

Very well packaged, easy to put together, sturdy.
I am pleased with it and surprised with how fast I got it.
I ordered it on the 3/24 and expected it around 4/2.

            Great Video- Thank You

I first saw this on DIY Network.
It was not available yet in USA.
I contacted the UK Distributor and she said it would be available in the USA in 2008. I left my Email and requested to be contacted when that happened.
Sometime later I found one USA tool company offering it at $199.00 -not counting shipping.
More recently, I got an Email-

We don't have immediate plans for the big box stores. Most likely, the Retail launch will happen Spring 2009.

Fyi., QVC has a fantastic price...much better than the $199 manufactures suggested retail price. and they also have a wonderful 30 day no questions return policy.
You can tune in online at www.qvc.com, type in Framex (or Item #V26110) and watch the show on your computer at your own leisure.

Hope this helps with your decision. Please let me know if I could be of further assistance.

            Best regards,
            Silvia

So the Bottom Line here is that I was impressed with her responsiveness and I decided to order it.

I think it took me as much time to unwrap all the protective packaging, as it did to assemble this fine piece of equipment.

                Looks promising

I went ahead and ordered one, the video makes it look real promising. I do a lot of cabinet construction, and the ability to flip it either as a high bench or an assembly / cutting station looks pretty good. I wonder how flexible the height adjustment is, if it could be adjusted to use as a outfeed / side table with my table saw?

                  Adjustments-Height

They are preset via an insert that screws in and has a few slots. I see no reason why you could not unscrew these plates and modify them, or easier just create a compensating block or frame to sit atop at the desired height.

I think once you get it you will see that it could be modified to meet your needs.

I like it- thats my story- and I'm stickin to it!

                      Triton Tools Super Jaws-http://www.triton.com.au/product.php?id=44

is another tool I bought. This thing is a Beast and I love it.
The nice thing about it is it has a foot operated lever for the jaws so your hands are free to hold the item. It folds up and is easily carried.
You can put anything in this Monster- Logs, 10X10 Beams, Your Mother -In--Law, Anything!! You can Reverse the sliding jaw to accommodate a door or wider.

Triton also makes a great Wood Rack- I own 8 of them
