    20% Off Entire Stock of Craftsman Tools 3/15

    Got a flyer in the paper today, plus an email saying that Sears was offering 20% off the entire stock of Craftsman tools on Saturday 3/15/08....one day only.

    Judging by today's prices, that should put the 22124 at a tad over $800, the 22114 ~ $585, 21829 for $360, the 21705 6" jointer for ~ $385, 11820 16V Li drill/light for $80, 22400 12" BS for ~ $280....
    Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

      It's not just Craftsman tools. It was pretty much everything. They had a Frued 8" stacked dado on sale for $79.99.

      Everything that was on sale that was not Craftsman I went acrross the street to HD and they matched the 20% off and gave an additional 10% off to beat it.

      So the I bought the Frued for $70.

      It's good to have a wife that works for HD that gives you the heads up on what to do to save some $$$$.

          I called lowes and they said they would match the 20% off. They said they would just have to call sears and verify the sale.

              Ah, it's online at $87 and they didn't have any in the store. Free shipping through the store kiosks though, so I still did better than $100+tax that it's normally listed at.

              They have a TON of stuff on clearance right now. Lots of long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, etc., even shoes are on sale. Oh, and 15% off appliances and rebates on delivery. Got a nice 13cu-ft chest freezer for $360 with a rebate voucher for the delivery cost.

                  I scored the 14" Professional Bandsaw that is built by Orion. It's no longer listed online or in the most recent catalog so they gave me an additional 10% off since it seems to be discontinued. Net 30% off of the $499 price resulted in $360 plus tax

                      'twas a beautiful sale it was. Even the compucarve was marked down over $300. I scored one of these..... Craftsman 2 hp Soft Start Fixed and Plunge Base Router w/Electronic Feedback, 11 amp.
                      To top it off, my dad bought it for me as an early b-day present.
