If you mean the Freud 30T LM74, that's a "Glue Line Ripper" with a very different tooth grind and geometry than the WWII 30T. The Freud has a triple chip grind with a 12° hook and a very low side clearance. It's intended for ripping in material up to ~ 1". The Forrest has an ATB grind and a 20° hook, and will rip well to > 2" and even does a decent job crosscutting....it's basically a more versatile blade, and will also yield "glue line rips". $39 shipped is close to 1/3 of MSRP.
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.
WOW! Heck of a deal for that blade, but do you have a 12" table saw? The hook angle on this one would make its use dicey on a CMS and outright dangerous on an SCMS or radial arm.

Oh, I was planning on using it on a SCMS. Thanks for the heads up.

No I didn't read the description carefully and thought it could be used for a SCMS. I have this Freud blade and guess will be keeping it. Still an interesting read though Dustmight. thanks for the info.
