Forrest WWII 30T TK shipped for $58.57

    The clean ripper...

This is a tough deal to beat on an extremely versatile blade with outstanding performance in many situations. It's especially adept in thick hardwoods...

Same. I was still able to cancel my previous order and save a few bucks. Thanks Dustmight.

You can always call or email with a request for a price adjustment for the previous order too... glad you got one though.

Thanks for the info Dustmight. (I think) LOML will probably kill me. At least I have the weekend to heal up before work Monday.
My Systematic is getting pretty beat up, so this came up at a good time. I've wanted a Forrest to try for some a while now. Thanks again! Jim.

I already have the 40 tooth thin kerf, any advantage to this on a bt 3100?

Also, why is it consistently called a circular saw blade everywhere except the Forrest website?

You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

A few years ago Fine Woodworking magazine did a review of saw blades. They recommended using a blade with the least amount of teeth that will do a specific job. Fewer teeth is less work for the saw, making for easier, faster, cooler, and cleaner cuts in thick and difficult woods. This blade should provide an advantage on lightly powererd saws like the BT3X. This blade appears to offer an interesting compromise between a 24T rip blade and a 40T combination blade.

As as 3/18/08 Amazon has reduced the price to $55.62. I just ordered a second one based on the excellent reviews of this blade elsewere on this website. This appears to be a high quality general purpose blade that does a good job with both rip and crosscuts.

                      dustmight,

i've wanted this blade for a long time, based on forrest's reputation and on your reviews. i hate taking the time to change out blades so if i'm in the middle of something i'll usually just use whatever blade's on the saw, and regret it later.

thanks for taking the time to research and share your knowledge and opinions with the rest of us.

Looks to me like the item is still available. Amazon customer service credited me for the difference between the reduced current price and the price I originally paid. I am very pleased.

Yep, you can still order. I think mine said it would ship 3/26.

Perfect timing, I was just visiting the BA forum to see if there were any deals on the WWII.

Thanks for the update on the second price drop! I just applied for my price match, again. Maybe they will keep at this for the next few weeks!
I ordered mine 3/14, said it would ship the 18th. It shipped on the 18th, and said it would arrive 3/26. I got it 3/21. USPS delivery. Packaged very well. It is in the shopw, but not on the saw yet. Heck, I don't even have the rubbery protection off of it yet. Jim.
