Has anybody else tried to get them to match their catalog prices before and did it work?

I'm curious if this is something that they always do or if it depends on which side of the bed the manager woke up on as to whether or not they will do this?

Sorry, not trying to hijack this post, but one more question if I may Do all Lowes, Home Depot and/or Sears stores accept Harbor Freight coupons?

I have a new Harbor Freight store opening up less than 5 miles away from a Sears, Lowes, and Home Depot and I want to know if I can get excited about being able to use Harbor Freight coupons at these other stores.

    Thanks!

HF traditionally does match the web price with a printout.
As very few things are sold, NEW, not refurbished, at HF as well as the (borg, Sears, etc), coupons and pricematch are rarely accepted elsewhere. Most of those only pricematch on the same EXACT item and most don't match their stores price, to their stores web price.

I went back in yesterday and took my receipt and used printscreen on the page with the coupon. They gave me the 10% retroactively - "this time" they emphasized - but claimed that a lot of these coupons are being fabricated. When I pointed out the address is a HF site, they said people "have ways" of getting the coupons onto their site. I had to keep from laughing.

I have used HF coupons at the Home Depot near me. It is close to a HF store.

I tried using it yesterday and it was a no go for me either. It scanned fine, but was not in their system. I only had about $50 worth of stuff so I just said "don't worry about it" and paid.

My bill was about $50 too, so it was no big deal financially, but what bothered me was the manager's attitude and the fact that he claimed that I couldn't have gotten the coupon from the HF website.

Was that a flyer that came in the mail?

This week I was unsuccessful in using the Jonesboro 10% off coupon at the Glen Burnie MD store. The clerk tried several times and the screen kept saying it was an invalid coupon. Well, gee, it was! I don't have any problem accepting that it was probably intended for use at the Jonesboro store only.

I got the flyer with the 15% off also. It is only 15% off ONE item not the whole purchase. When I used it they lady at the register looked at the exp date and gave it back to me so I could use it again.

The store near me just opened up this month and the people working there have been very helpful and friendly.

Anyone with the 15% flyer coupon mind scanning and posting. I'd like to buy a $99 right angle drill tomorrow.

It's unlikely they will take a copy of this coupon - they used to, but they started clamping down recently, at least in my area. You can try it and play dumb and they MIGHT take it "this time". Good luck.

Sorry, I already used mine, so can't post a copy.
