I haven't seen these clamps, but they're on sale until the 8th of this month.

The pads aren't as large as the pads on the Kreg clamps, but you can easily get some bar stock, gring them to the same size as the real thing, and use some epoxy to secure the larger pads to the clamps. Works like a charm and is MUCH cheaper!

And I do think they're a good deal the Kreg thing aside..

And what a savings it is!!! KREG, MADE IN AMERICA. This other junk, MADE IN CHINA. A great deal? Don't even start complaining about $4.00 per gallon gas because those of you that continue to buy this Chinese crap are THE PROBLEM !!

          FEDSAWDAVE,

From your recent posts, it's obvious that you're a proponent of buying American, which is an admirable point of view. But suggesting that buying tools made in China is causing gas prices to rise seems like quite a stretch.

I'm not sure if you're trying to bring people over to your point of view, but in my experience, telling people that they're the problem isn't usually a convincing strategy.

Hmmm... buying Chinese knock-off tools is making the gas more expensive??? China... gas... China... gas. Nope. I'm not getting it.

edit: Just quickly checked out your website...nice. All that stuff and none of it made in China?

Actually, there may be something to the China and gas thing. China is starting to use more gas, causing the world market to respond because of shortage (real or perceived) and thus the price goes up. Just like when OPEC throttles down production.
But it's not directly because any of us buy a gadget made in China. Jim.

This is not the place to debate HF, China or the world's oil supply. You can talk about HF quality all you want in Off-Topic. If you want to talk about China or oil, there are political forums for that.

I am in complete agreement with Crokett! Hijacking a topic to discuss world trade is not within the scope of this forum!
