Ridgid MSUV down from $200 to $49 at the BORG!!!!

An update to my previous post of a few weeks ago indicating a markdown from $199 to $79. Figured this aggressive markdown needed it's own thread.

The Borg has marked down the Ridgid MSUV even further.

    $199---> $149--->$99--->$79--->$49

Mine had another five out on display with a handmade sign on them indicating the progressive markdowns.

Most people will ask for a receipt. I did ya one better. Took the yellow sticker from the display (yes there was more than sticker)

Maybe you folks that bought it recently at $79 could get $30 bucks back.

This sale went into effect today. You could see the "03/04" right under the $149.00

    Good luck,
    Greg

The last time this was posted I stopped by to look for one, this was last week sometime. It was at $199. I had the girl check and that was the price. So this must be only in certain areas. I'm in So. Cal.

Edit: which number is the SKU?

Do you think this would work with a RAS?

As far as I have heard the last markdown (to $79) was nationwide. Many across the country confirmed that price. Maybe they were checking the price on current model which, yes, is $169-199.

Borg SKU's are the six digit numbers with the dash after the first three. 206-676

That sounds like the price for the new one, came out last spring. The old one is SKU# 206-676 Ridgid #AC9940 original price $199, the new one is SKU# 984-386 Ridgid #AC9944 price $169.

Maybe it was a newer version. They only had one on the shelf, and no others that I could see. And they've not been popping up on CL around here, so I guess maybe there are not too many available.

I wouldn't bet on it... Force, mass and weight are considerably different, and I wouldn't want to risk a running RAS ending up in my lap...

Over at Sawmill Creek, a member was trying to sell his Ridgid RAS, that was mounted to one of these.
I mentioned it over at the DeWalt RAS forums, and a few thought it would be fine for the smaller models, but not the larger ones. It also is more likely to throw the tool out of adjustment, ESPECIALLY if you forget to lock it down (most likely a 45 degree angle), when trying to go through door frames.

Does anybody located one in the East Texas area? Or even in DFW or Houston metorplex?

I have checked the Home Depot website. It does not even recognize AC9940 or Ridgid MSUV or MSUV Miter Saw Utility Vehicle. It finds AC9944 and calls it Mobile Miter Saw Stand.

I got the same thing, so I went to a store and they looked up 206-676 for the whole area. For those in Northern Kentucky, the computer showed 4 at the Florence store at Nooon today.

I use it for my planer as well as my miter saw.
