Freud RTP 1000 Portable Router Table @ Lowes $99

I just picked this up at the Bartow Lowe's for $99. I thought I had seen a bargin alert elsewhere, but a search didn't find it. They had a couple left. This is a link to the specs on the table. I was going to start building a router table with a piece of old counter top and the Craftsman fence that was closed out for $20, but was stumped looking for a good table insert. Good deal?

I'll be interested in hearing both of your reactions to this table. I looked at it carefully because it seemed like a good deal on a nifty tool. But the insert and table-top both flexed under very little weight and the wooden face faces were extremely flimsy. The top and insert have to be rigid to get consistent results on things like making cope and stick framed cabinet doors. The weight of the router would easily pull this table out of wack. Also, I don't remember which part it was, but one one part was already malfunctioning right out of the box. It's too bad Freud messed up because it was a great idea.
