There you go, muddying the waters again. That's a great price. Is this advertised anywhere, or just in the store? Maybe I can use this to work to my advantage at Home Depot on the Makita SCMS. The Hitichi was second on my list, only because of the smaller table size. I guess if I could score it for 210.00, I might be swayed to go that direction. Don't forget that there is a free fixed base router by rebate from Hitachi! Good on purchases through 1/31/08 IIRC.

Went by 3 Lowes on the way home tonight. None of the 3 knew anything about any special price, and couldn't pull into Dallas stores. They did confirm that it was listed as a non-stock item, but no special deals.
Agg97, I guess I might as well be the one that asks you to post a scan of the receipt if you can/will. It may be the only leaverage any of the rest of us can use.
And roughly how many of these saws did you see there? White boxes or brown? (I saw some of both colors tonight)

Here ya go. When I was there, there was one saw in a box (white box) and the display model. I snatched up the box really fast, and didn't look on the overhead shelving to see if they had any more. Good luck!
