Stanley Fubar Clearanced @ Target $14.98

Not sure if this is a limited local deal from Target but I stopped by at Target after work and bought a FatMax Functional Utility Bar for $14.98 plus tax. This item normally retails for $30.00

    * 4-in-1 tool for prying, splitting, board bending and striking jobs
    * 2.5 lbs - fits easily in the hammer loop
    * One piece forged steel bar for increased durability
    * Board grabbing jaw sized for 2x lumber
    * Beveled nail slot for pulling & prying nails
    * Textured grip for excellent comfort & control, even when wet
    * Tempered steel that prevents chipping
    Chris

It's what I say to my wife whenever she asks me to repair something beyond my abilities...frequent opportunity to use here.

Looks like a useful demo tool, can do some things my wonderbar can't

My highschool English teacher pointed out both Fubar and Snafu in an unabridged dictionary. The definition was uncensored - I remember wondering how far off a movement to remove dictionaries from the schools was.

Functional Unility BAR is not the FUBAR that I remember. More expletives where necessary for the other definition.
If you can read this you assembled wrong.

Back in the 80's we had a service tech that used that term when a stereo piece was not repairable. One of my salesmen picked up on it and started writing "fubar" in the description of the problem on the repair orders. Needless to say we had a good chuckle, then politely had him use other terms to describe the problem the customer was having. Jim.

I have the big one and it worked pretty well when I took out a wall recently. I am seeing if the LOML will pick one up as a gift for a friend whole is tearing out some cabinets next weekend. Seems like a great price.

Kick butt tool.....but I like the Fubar stories of drinking and demolition better. Ahhh....high school/college memories.

LOML just called from Target and it is scanning as $20.95 in Louisville KY. Still is $10 less than Amazon and Target online.

Not far, Texas schools once banned all dictionaries after 1966 (I think) because of entries like that.
If I'd known it was harmless I'd have killed it myself.

Call back on Thursday. Target does their mark downs on Thursday.
