Came across this while looking for deals on router bits. 1 set still $99 or so on Amazon so this might be decent:

Federal saw and tool site - http://www.tools4solidsurface.com/Fr...-pr-18659.html

Shipping only about $6 for me

    Text from website:

    List $134, Sale $99.90

That's $9.90 PER Made in Italy Bit !!

Edit: Same site, 2 for 1 Freud 80T blades (LU74R010)...not too bad @ $42 a blade, they're $55 each at the jungle. Hit the specials link on main page: http://www.tools4solidsurface.com/Specials-c-296.html

    Freud FT1700VCEK Router $129

Noted the above on sale as well. A very good price for a highly thought of router. Shipping for me came out to just over $8.00.

    Thanks for the heads up!

This bit deal is right up there with the 7pc Whiteside set from Holbren for $80 (after Bt3 discount code) + free shipping.

Wow! Gentlemen, we're flattered. My web folks came to me today and said that a place named BT3 was spiking more hits than they've ever seen in a very short time span and asked if I knew who they were. Well, I didn't. Then I checked out this site.

I must read the threads to become familiar with everyting here.

        Again, thank you!

It's a good sign to see a business owner actually pop in too!

Welcome to the family. I'm new here and can't show you around all the nooks the crannies yet but you're more than welcome to pull up a chair.

Remember to keep a fire extinguisher close to the webserver

We likey the deals. We are a bunch of deal mongers so don't expect to make any money off us! HA! But if you got a bunch of crap you want to unload . . . you got the place. A lot of our deals get cross posted on some of the larger forums as well.

Well, there's a fine line between a deal and keeping the mortgage paid. We give it our best shot.

What are you thoughts on this bit set for beginners.

I just saw this sets price on Amazon decrease to $81 today. Did a search here and found this thread showing this set B1G1 for $99. I checked the OPs link and now see that it is $49 per set.

Almost seems too good to be true as I've read that Freud bits are one of the best. Is this a lower line of Freuds perhaps?

I went to Lowes the other day to get some stuff to build Alex's router table extension and router insert. I went to the router bit aisle and only saw Skil and Bosch brands. Their Bosch 1/2, 1/2, 1 straight was $20. Yikes.

Disclaimer: I do not know the person posting as rags but thanks for the mention. Have not been on this site in a long time but while looking at web stats tonight I was seeing a large crossover from BT3 so I wandered over to see why.

                      Have a great week!
