Lowes router table $109

I just picked up a Freud RTP1000 router table for $109 on clearance. From what I've seen router plate has issues, but that can be replaced. The Fence is really why I got it. I comes with the SH-5 fence which is $99 on amazon. I also recieved a $10 off $50 coupon at the register. I went back the same day to buy some plywood and recieved a second $10 coupon even though I used the the first one I got to make the purchase.

I just noticed the router plate on amazon appears to be plastic. The one that came with my table is metal and seems to be pretty solid. Maybe Freud corrected the problem and amazon hasn't updated the stock or photos.

Great find! Would love to pick one up too...do you have a link to the item on Lowe's website? This would be perfect to accompany the recent Freud router deals too.

Couldn't find it online and closest B&M is about 1.5 hours away in Illinois...would rather order online if possible.

I can't find it their web site. The item # is 129726. I've noticed once an item goes on clearance they pull it off the site.

Super, found the item number you listed on a cached lowes page, it's the right one and has a special character in the price. I'll call the closest one and will see if they can reserve it.

I went to the local store last night and they had 3 there. Had a yellow tag above them that said $159. Went to the register and showed them a copy of this thread! It rang up $199. It also showed up as a nonstock item and she said that she could sell it for $109. I said OK and took it home. Some reviews have said that the old models (same model number) have plastic router plates that are no good and that is what this one has. I checked it and sure enough it has a big dip in it. I called Freud and they said they would send a new plate to me right away no problem! The Freud website says that the router plate is aluminum so we'll see if that is what I get. If it is, then this is a great deal!

if i can remember correctly, the material is 1" laminated particle board with an aluminum plate for the router. the display model had the plate sitting 1/8" lower than the top of table. otherwise it seemed sturdy, i kind of pushed down on it. the plate did seem to flex a little, but i was pushing down hard, so the plate is fine. the adjustment for the fence is really cool. so for $109, it may not be a bad deal. but a reciept is needed. i am still thinking.

The store in Oaks, PA has two more. They wouldn't honor the $109 price, but I was able to talk them down to $140. It does show up as non-stock on the computer under the above listed item number.

Any chance someone has a receipt reflecting the $109 price? My local store will not go below $179 even though its the last in stock.

Thanks for the original post. On the off chance, I asked the local Lowes if they had any and the guy was very helpful and said he thought there was one up on a shelf. At first he couldn't find it, then he did and brought it down. It had no box and was a little dirty and scratched. He said that he could take 10% off the $199 price. I asked if he could do a lot better since this appeared to be a return. He called the manager who immediately said I could have it for $99. So I figured not too bad of a deal.

It does also have the plastic plate and I wondered if you could direct me to the department/number at Freud to see if they would send me a new plate too. Much appreciated. Thanks again
