    Bosch CS20 Circular Saw $69 @ BORG

Local Borg has several Bosch CS20 circular saws on clearance for $69. I believe they were $119 or $129 originally. Seems like a great saw for the money.

I looked a looooong time at one of these after helping a friend re-hab a condo--using one of these. I never felt so much smooth power in a CS. Did end up with the Milwaukee Tilt-Lok model instead @ HD for $89 a few months back. Dang, I wish I needed another CS! Might need to drop by and take a look.

      Paid more

I paid more but, is one of the best i've had. Have cut with all kinds of blades (concrete-metal-etc) and have had nothing but good to say about it. Will probably buy second at that price.

I like the Milwaukee 6390 Tilt-Lok best for me as a general user. I also use the Porter-Cable 324 Mag indoors with the EZ panel cutting system because of the decent dust collection.

The Bosch CS20 is a great saw, especially for that price. I have used it a bit and would have a hard time holding off buying it if I saw it on the shelf at $69. The removable cord is kind of nice, and the joist hanger is great if you are doing framing or decking. Hard to go wrong with any of those saws in my opinion.

I use the PC Mag as well, but have used the Bosch and I really like the removable cord and the joist hanger as well.

I started with a Worm drive, then when I bought my EZ in 2004, it was right blade ONLY (NOT NOW). So I bought this after hearing that dust collection was in the works for this. It showed up about 3 months after I was told it would, and it made me happy. It wasn't till I started using the square, that I ran into issues (Left handed).
I picked up and had Dino fit a PC424 (left bladed 325). Since I got the Bridge setup, and a longer rail, I can use the Bosch on it (no brake) and the PC with the Smart table and EZ. I only wished this one had a brake because it IS a wonderful saw.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Not sure about the others, but IMO - Black and Decker did the whole cord-lock nonsense back in the 80's - and it was a stupid idea then.

Not a 12 ga. cord around that'll curl back into the strain relief loop, hate that feature. Can't use my cords that have a replacement end on it with it either. You want removable cord - do what Festool and Milwaukee have done and make a twist lock factory cord.

The base has a ton of flex to it, and my Milwaukee tilt lock was a whole bunch smoother.

The height adjust knob seems to always need to be tweaked - nice that it quick-releases to allow for quick adjusts though.

The only good thing about it is the rafter hook - very well designed and handy as heck.

Having said all of the above - for $69, it's an unbeatable deal and should be purchased by anyone that needs another circ saw.
