    new HF coupons

    http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/...RetailAv2.html

the 11hp electric start utility engine is a deal for $199, and if the current 15% flyer coupon is used $165 is a steal. wish I had a use for it. Joe

Where did you get the 15% coupon? I get the flyer, but I don't think there's a coupon in it.

Of the 2 HF fliers I received recently, neither had a 15% off coupon and I did check the back. Not to say I didn't overlook it, but I did make an effort to find it.

I would be all over an HFDC if I had a 15% couppin...

I have seen identical flyers before, one with the coupon and the other without. I think they are doing targeted marketing, and are only sending the "couped" flyers to certain people (I don't know the criteria, but I can't think of a another reason to print two otherwise identical flyers.) I assume they keep track of the coupon purchases we make (the redeemed coupons have our info coded into them), and maybe they de-select those of us who always stick it to them on big ticket items already on sale.

That would be a smart way to do business, therefore it's probably not true for HF!!

As to the mailers, the one that I received before Thanksgiving had a 15% off coupon. The next one had a 10% off coupon. The one I received two days ago, had none.

The 15% off coupon ended Monday, December 3rd, and I used it to get my projectile pinner (aka needler gun for those of you who remember Star Frontiers).

These were mass market mailers, NOT targeted locally.

15% off flyer good till 12/26, same with the coupon IIRC, used it on a drill press. The engine is electric start, thats the starter sticking out behind the ignition switch panel. the engines I have seen at the stores are made by lifan.

Interesting, because my flyers before and after Thanksgiving had no coupon, but the one a couple of days ago had a 15% off coupon.

If you click on the coupon you'll see that it is an electric start engine with a manual pull as a backup.

I bought the tile saw. It will cut through 3 3/4" pavers. Unfortunately, I got it just as the freezing weather settled in.
