Leaves me cold. There are some good prices here and there but some items are more than they were a couple of days ago.

Still waiting for a truly compelling bargain from the jungle this Christmas season.

Those sale prices are what the retail stores normally sell them for.
In a word: lame.
I've also noticed that Azon has been raising prices on most of their tools in the last few days - sometimes as much as 20-30%. Willing to bet we'll see them go "on sale" for that amount soon.

I think I recall reading that Amazon had a tough last quarter due to too low pricing. So I wonder if they are working on another bad quarter because of too high pricing. We'll have to see what develops.

I think another factor might be the huge investment Amazon certainly must have made in Denali tools. They may be reducing their discounts on mainstream brands in an attempt to stimulate some movement by consumers to Denali products because of a wider price difference.
