    ace hardware sale items

A couple of items caught my eye in the latest Ace Hardware sales flyer:

    1) Makita Cordless Screwdriver Set: $29.99

    2) 6 Pc. X-Beam SAE or Metric Racheting Set: $9.99
    metric set: http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...Id=20241744983
    sae set: http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...Id=20241744983

PS: On a related note, check out the website of the local ace hardware store for some funny pictures:

Wow, the car held up real well!

The Makita link does not show $29.99 price. Currently $53 or so.

Yeah, the web link shows a different price. But it's clearly marked as $29.99 in the latest insert that came with the local newspaper. I have no idea if this is local only. I couldn't locate it on acehardware.com

Edit: the item number listed in the flyer is 2188662

Here's a picture of the add from the flyer:

Probably just wanted to take advantage of holiday 'door buster' specials.

I was talking to the tool manager at my local ace and he was telling me that their cost on the makita screwdriver is $29.50. they make a whopping $0.49 on the sale!

I just want to add that these wrenches are NOT ratcheting. I just drove 20 miles in a blizzard to find out they are nothing but your standard wrench, but the end is twisted like the craftsmans. They did have a set of ratcheting ones, but for $50
