anyone doing a bath remodel? Toto Toilets 20% off via PayPal on Overstock

I used the UltraMax on my recent powder room remodel....it's fantastic.

paid $368 delivered, which was the best deal at the time. $399 b4 the discount on Overstock. looks like they have sitewide free shipping too.

just have to use pay pal.

      20%

I ordered this over the net; the 20% did not show on my order confirmation. Called customer service, they canceled the internet order and I reordered over the phone, they gave $80. off. Total was 319.99

I just wish they had the Drake model. I am not a big fan of the one piece models, and have wanted to pick 3 up since we built the house 3 years ago. O-well, good deal anyway.

i'm a huge fan of the one-piece toilet.

i will preface this with: i'm a little OCD when it comes to bathroom cleaining.

the one-piece toilets are more hygienic (and easier to clean for that matter), as they don't have the void between the bowl and tank.

the toilet has a nice clean look IMO.

i hope these come with the cool Toto seat, which softly closes. forgot to check into that b4 i posted.

I''ve just started tearing the bathroom apart and won't be using it again till im done. That one piece looks great. I know the easy cleaning would be much appreciated. Do these styles have the same footprint? I'm replacing a 25yo model and I won't be moving the wall or the hole in the ground.

this Toto has a 12" rough-in, which is the most common size now. measure from the middle of the trap to the finished wall to figure out the rough-in of your current set-up.

Get the one with the Sani-gloss coating, less brown water stain means less cleaning, and the hydraulic seat, no slamming noise. Great toilet

If you live in the Bay Area, there are several Chinese plumbing supply stores (mostly in Oakland Chinatown) that have the Toto low and mid profile tanks.
                  Specs:
One piece integrated tank and bowl
                  Microban like "antimicrobial" glaze
                  "slow close hydraulic" seat
                  Elongated bowl
Hidden Velcro at the bottom of tank lid for security
                  Tool-less, adjustable modern style floater
                  Low consumption water flush

just like the one in this thread for $199 to $219 reg price depending on which store you go to. They are mostly made in Canada not Japan. The one I went to was Sincere Hardware. I have already bought 3.

i've purchased 2 in the past, and both were manufactured in Georgia. are those knock-offs or the real thing?

                      additional Overstock discounts through 11/30

EDIT: I believe Overstock pulled their participation in the PayPal promo. They are no longer listed on the PayPal page and no mention of the discount on their own site. I guess this is now a YMMV situation. I cannot check out to confirm the PayPal rebate.

It's too early (5AM) for me to summarize properly. Free shipping ended yesterday but it's only $2.95/order.

Link to 10% off + Paypal 20% thread.

Link to $50 off $400 / $40 off $350. The Paypal 20% back should still be in effect but I did not personally confirm this.

If you are a Fatwallet member (free) you'll get an additional 4% back using any discount on the second link.

                      Enjoy.
