I was in my local Home Depot last night and they were closing out the drum sanding sleeve replacement packs for the Ryobi oscillating spindle sander at $5.80 per set according to the yellow close out price sticker affixed to each package.
When I got to the cash register the items rang up at $.01. ( a penny) per set. The cashier told me something was wrong with computer price and she could not sell them to me. Not wanting to bypass a bargan, I asked if she could get a manager to straighten out the price discrepancy as I was prepared to pay the $5.80 per pack. The manager ended up selling me the entire store stock (a total of 7 packs) for a penny a piece. He told me I would not be able to return the items. I said that would not be a problem.
