    Porter-Cable 7518 3.25hp router: $275

Been keeping an eye on this router for a while since I got my (still boxed) Bench Dog CI table & lift. Saw this deal at Coastal:

$275 seems to be a good deal (Amazon best is $319). Have you guys seen better for this router? Coastal reputable? This appears to be new, not refurb (??)

I recently purchased a Kreg Jig from Coastal - the experience was great. I was worried about them too and had a colleague from the Hartford area visit the store for me to make sure they were legit before I placed my order.

Went with cheapest UPS ground and still got it the next day! (CT to PA)

Good luck with your new router...
    Thanks:

Would you be interested in a Freud 3 1/4 Plunge for $125 shipped. If so then check out http://www.hartvilletool.com/.

That is a good price. $250 is the cheapest I have seen it and that was a HDT special. The Milwaukee is just as good, if not better and can regularly be had for around $250. Man, I wished I knew if that Jessem/Milwaukee motor unit is ever going to ship from Amazon. If not I would likely pick this up.

dabeeler, the Freud is a plunge router which has a motor that can not be removed and put into a lift as described by Gary.

Yep - exactly - I've got a Hitachi M12V2 now, but I can't get to the bits above table because its a plunge...

Jeffrey - I thought there was a down side to the Milwaukee vs the PC in the BD Pro-Lift...no? ALso - whats the Jessem/Mil unit you refer to? Thanks

Milwaukee is slightly smaller in diameter thus the included shims must be used. Jessem/Mil unit is Milwaukee motor modified by Jessem to include VS and power switch that can be mounted away from router.

I recieved my Milwaukee/Jessem moter last week from Amazon. Picked up the completee Jessem setup - moter, mastRlift, stand, phenolic top and fence. The only thing I haven't recieved yet is the fence.

Think the MastRLift ended up costing me $145, normally $269.00 bought each item seperate with a dremel or B&D tool to get the 20% and the 25% discount on each Jessem item.

Yes! And you ordered it back when the others did? Around September 29th?
