Lowes $10 off $25 purchase coupon

Lowes is offering a "Kick off the Fall" coupon of $10 off a $25 purchase.

Just fill out form, receive email, and print. I received my email in 1 minute. Use another email for another coupon. Maybe this will make up for all those deals Lowes doesn't have in your area.
What if there is no tomorrow?....there wasn't one today!

I'm leary about this site. The domain is loweswinners.com.

When I entered fake information except for my email address, I received the email very quickly. However, to print the coupon, you click on a link that points to:

      66.129.112.72/sportsweb/printcard.asp.....

It really sounds like a scam to me.

I don't know if this is a scam or not, but I think Lowe's used the loweswinners.com site for some kind of sweepstakes back in the spring, having to do with the NCAA tournament. Could be just recycling the same software code for this promotion. Pointing to an IP in the URL is sloppy, but doesn't necessarily mean it's a scam. More than likely, this whole thing was outsourced to a third party anyway, and none of it is hosted on any servers that are managed or owned by Lowe's.

I just gave 'em a phony address, we'll see if the coupon card works.

I got the confirmation email but when I click "Print My Project Starter Card" a "This Page cannot be displayed" error. I tried both Firefox and Explorer, turned off pop-up blockers, and even set it to accept all cookies. All with no joy. any suggestions.

I get a database error when I try to retrieve my coupon after getting the e-mail...

                ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

That's another error I get. I even tried registering again and using a different computer but still the same errors.

I don't know if this will work because i haven't tried it, but here is a suggestion on slickdeals of how to make it work.

I tried making a disposable email address at yahoo with the tag "loweswinners" (i never give out my real address) and got an error about the address wasn't allowed because of potential abuse. I'm not sure how this would prevent any abuse, but i thought it was entertaining.
