Amazon Friday Sale - Porter Cable 343K RO Sander $40

On Amazon's Friday sale (10/5), the PC 343K random-orbit sander is $40. This has been going for ~$50-60 lately.

Be sure to select Amazon as the vendor, as there are some others out there.

This model is NOT variable-speed, but sure looks like a bargain to me.

That is a great price.... but how the heck did you find it?
Thinking that there are other great buys where that came from, I started looking. I can't even find that deal... found the same sander at a higher price but not that price. The Friday's deals page seemed to not have it listed.

Do I have my dunce hat on again? Could you post the upper level page that leads to the great deal?

The price went back up around 3 PM. Basically, you snooze, you loose. What you need to do is add that item to your cart and keep monitoring it. I have seen the price on this item fluctuating the last 2 weeks. 40$ was the lowest. It stood around 44$ the whole of last week. Now it is back up to 54$

        Yeah, it's $54.99 now.

Earlier in the day it would show up as a higher price, but you could change the vendor to Amazon (instead of one of the other sellers there) and still get the $40 price.

        But it's dead now.

        Oh well.

That is exactly what I do. I have some 200-300 items in my cart which i monitor few times a day. Sometimes you will not believe the type of deals due to pricing errors.

              c) Amazon's weekly home improvement sale (every Friday - Monday)
