I went to my local store the last time this sale was on ( a few weeks ago ) and the display model was gone and no more on the shelf. This time I ordered it online for local pickup. Any powered sander, that is not a trow away, is a good deal. Although it is kind of specialized.

Would it be very hard to make your own disks from Random orbit velcro sanding disks? You could essentially make several smaller disks out of each 5 inch RO disk and it would not be very hard to do. That should eliminate the reliance on Sears overpriced disks.
