This looks like the same one that many people got on sale about a month ago. For those who got it, how do you like it?

I love mine! I use it as a secondary saw to my Laguna 16” which is mainly used for re-sawing. IMHO the Craftsman saws are made by RIKON (model 10-300), but the Craftsman version has a cast iron top instead of the grooved aluminum. Also, the blade length is 70 ½” vs the RIKON at 67” or 67 ½”.

For the $, couldn't be happier. An 18" resaw machine it is not, but I have been happy with it for my needs. It really does a pretty decent job of 4" and under resawing, just don't push too hard and let the blade do its job. It works great for curves, tapers, etc... My only complaint would be the weird length blade, but most sources will custom weld to any length, just don't expect to walk in somewhere and find a blade that will fit it. A very well built machine.

I got one of these during their last sale. I have not used it very much but it has worked great so far.

Peachtree carries the 70 1/2" blades for it. There are also other suppliers that will make custom size blades for it. If you search on the BT3 forum there is more info on the saw.

            C'man bandsaw

Yep, same one I bought about a year or so back...on sale for $139.00 then.
No regrets so far....it does everything that I need and never a problem. A
good saw for the money...still using the stock blade that came with it. eezlock

I got mine at $99 and I love it. It has been perfect for what I need. The only complaint that I have is the odd ball size of the blade. I haven't seen one at any Sears I've been in since I purchased the saw.

I don't know if anybody can answer this, but shipping on tool purchases over $99 is free until the 30th. The "details" are ambiguous, but appear to apply to stuff under 150 lbs. So has anybody gotten free shipping on this (77 lbs.)

And...do people get a Craftsman Club discount?

Im not sure, about the shipping... Isnt there a sears store in Ashland? I went to my local store and ordered it based on all the reviews throughout the year. I didnt have to pay shipping, it came to 105.99. Im not sure about the Craftsman Club discount...

A yooper! Yes, there is a Sears dealer in Ashland. That's a different setup from Sears stores and has almost nothing to do with sears.com. He has to match the price, which he'd do, and he's good about applying the discount, or was when I ordered my 21829.

But free shipping is cheaper than two 30-mile round trips in the old pickup (one to order, one to pick up--they have about 46 tools in stock, total), and finding somebody to help me move a 77-lb box into the house is sometimes a problem.

Does anybody have any experience on how this bandsaw may compare to the Hitachi CB6YI 10 inch Tilting Head Bandsaw I got from Amazon for $100? I still haven't opened that one and could easily get the $ I've got into it back out.

I picked this one up also on sale, got an additional 10 off for a mauled box.
For $89+ im happy with it.

I wish the week aluminum trunnion was of better quality. I found any movement in the table is due to the slip between it. But perhaps it is not of much consequence.

The Rikon version has a stand that fits it, can be ordered as accessory but not sure where you get it.
