    Porter-Cable 7216 24" Dovetail OmniJig $280

I think I've heard good reviews on this one...? At any rate, seems to be about $400 from most other sources so this looks like a good deal:

    Last check showed 16 available.

I think this is in response to the new Porter Cable jig that appears to be a Leigh rip off (sorry don't see it any other way). Also, Leigh has introduced a lower priced line. I think this may be creating an excess supply of the old Omnijig.

I've had that one for a while. It is a tank. Not too bad to setup. I got mine for (IIRC) about $120 from a P-C rep who had gotten out of the tool business.

Can you use lumber that is less than 1/2" thick on this jig?

Also, for anyone who has this jig, what kinds of joints can it do right ut of the box? From the description on amazon, it seems it can do 1/2" blind dovetails and adjustable through-dovetails....anything else?

This looks like a killer price, but not if lots of extra templates/accessories are needed.

        TIA
