    Congrats on getting this deal!

I think I might see a crow turned white before I can see these deals on our Lowes around here.

I bought the Delta Mobile Base last week at a Lowe's 60 miles away for $10.00. I found one at my local Lowe's on a clearance rack but it didn't have a clearance sticker. Work in Tool World looked it up & said it was the last one he had & it was still priced at $53.00.

My local store sucks. I asked why would you put tools on a clearance rack if they are not marked down.

My closest Lowes sucks also... Even when they have a sidewalk sale, they don't haggle, and if stuff doesn't sell, it just goes back in stock. They don't match receipt scans from other Lowes stores, either. Guess they gotta pay for all that hardware that Jimmie Johnson chews up. The only righteous thing they have ever done for me was let me use an occasional HF coupon.

I got 3 of the delta mobile bases last Wednesday. They had them for $10, but I told the woman at the cust service desk that some other stores had them for $6, and she price matched w/o a reciept! I thought that was awfuly nice. It kinda evens out the fact that the guy in the tool dept was a tool himself. He had no idea what a mobile base even was!

I went to the store nearby and found out that these items are non-stock items. The tools dept guy who calls me "buddy" (due to my frequent visits) said Lowes is not going to carry Delta stuff. So, I asked him then why these items are not on "clearance". He said they are just waiting for all the items on the rack to disappear. Looks only some Lowes marking them down.

Possible future mark down. I spotted a freud ultimate router table system and it was dirty. I asked him whether he has more. He said no and he won't sell the display unit because it might be missing some items. Later he checked and found only one another store has 2 of them. I am going to go tomorrow again and ask him to sell that to me. It is possible that this will be marked down in the future...

Glad I am not the only one with that issue. It took 25 minutes to checkout on saturday and I was the 4th person in line. Half the stuff didn't have a bar code, the cashier was part sloth, nobody answered pages for pricing...

I was only slightly annoyed. So to help the situation I loudly announced nobody over 60 was allowed in this line since you obviously would die of old age before getting to the register.

Yup. Most stores respond to long checkout lines by opening other registers. Lowes takes care of the problem by closing all but one. That way, the customers will never come back, and the lines will thusly be shorter.
