Bench Dog Blade-loc $6.36 at Lowes

Have read that the Bench Dog Blade-loc will save a lot of cuts to hands when changing blades. Lowes had them for around $15 but I bought one today on Clearance for $6.36. Hope it works as promised. Oh, it's made in the USA!!!!!

    Lowes Bargains

Virtually every time I see a bargain from Lowes posted, I go to the store and they don't have a clue. Sometimes, they don't even have a shelf tag for the product! Very frustrating, esp as Lowes is 30 miles from my house. By the time i chase down a few bargains, I'm $30 in the hole for gas! I'm in NY, has anyone had any luck with getting anything at lowes Long Island or Brooklyn?

You are not alone, herb. I have finally given up on Lowes alerts - i have only snagged 1 (yes, one) based on alerts here (that was for drawer slides last year) .

The SKU is 33882. Item is "Blade-loc Blade Changing" The price is $6.36. I was going to scan my receipt in but since Woodwerker got one for $1.00, I won't.

Woodwerker, it seems like that Oaks PA store always has the best bargains among the Lowes stores. $1.00 for this thing - you should be ashamed. :-)

I know what you mean, herb. Our local has not had any of the deals posted and I'm in the same boat when it comes to the distance to Woodcraft - nearly 60 miles. It's just as well!

Thanks for the SKU, but to really cash in on the deal, you need a reciept scan.

I've had mixed luck with Lowes deals. I got the belt/ Disc sander when I had the reciept, but just barely. I also got the mobile base. The trick for me is calling the store and seeing if they have the item in stock. Then ignore what any employees tell you. With the sander, the tool dept guy said they didn't have any, even when their computer said they did. Then with the mobile base, same thing. In both cases I had to find the product myself. The employees were no help.

I got the Bench Dog as a gift a few months ago and I've really liked it. It is more designed for a table saw, but I have used it with my SCMS and my RAS.
