              Wouldnt be my first choice to include with the sander, however I do use 60 grit from time to time. When you deal with highly figured woods and exotics planer and jointer tear out is pretty much a fact of life. An aggressive grit maybe needed if it is not responding to planes or scrapers.

                  it's great for rusty metal. 60 grit comes in handy in humid New York
