I purchased one of those sets last time it was near this price point. IMO it's a 2 or maybe 3 star item. I didn't really like the way the slow start worked, it was difficult to change bases and also to adjust bit height. It kinka had a plastic feel to it although the bases are made of magnesium. Another member had problems with the bits changing heights when the router was running. I did not have this problem.
I wouldn't recommend it for serious routing duties. I sold mine after one use for $50.

I picked up one on the last go around; couldn't be happier, except for the slooooow soft start. Haven't used it a lot yet (my third router), but it's been easy to use/set up and have had no problems. Comes in a nice case and has some accessories included - edge guide and I forget what else. $43???? C'mon! lolComment

Seems fine to me as well, especially for <$50 price. I'm sure the 3x or more priced models must be better, but are they really that much better for the weekend warrior type?
In fairness, I've had a bit fall out a time or two in use...user error, just need to tighten the collet a bit more. The spring that releases the shaft lock button is very stiff, making it hard (for me) to keep it properly engaged while tightening the collet. The spring does seem to be relaxing a bit with use. Wonder if that was the source of the "levitating bit problem".
I've also found the plunge base springs to be quite stiff at first, but they also seem to be relaxing after some use. At first, I was afraid this thing was going to be worthless b/c I couldn't seem to get my spiral bit to plunge to the 3/4" depth I needed...another user error, use more muscle.
Have no trouble changing bases. Follow the arrows, motor drops right in.
Dust collection seems funtional as well, once you figure out a way to rig it.
