Well, my 2 orders got cancelled w/ no reason given. The ironic thing is it again shows in stock w/ the same price so I placed a new order. Maybe this time? Worth a shot a I guess.

Now that its out of stock online, has anyone considered going to their local store w/ a print out of the page? That worked a while back for the Dewalt ROS's.

I may give it a try since I have to go to HD to exchange that ROS since the speed dial broke on 2nd use. Hmmmmmph.

Hint: if you have a "local store" selected then it will tell you if they carry it there; the problem is that it will also say that local store prices may not be the same. You are better off if you do not have a local store selected as then it does not say that except at the very bottom of the 2nd printed page, which you don't have to bring, right?

I tried bringing the print out to a HD store and they wouldn't accept it. I was talking to the tool guy and the red-shirt hilti guy. Tool guy said it was to low to match and hilti guy started making some stupid reason, like must be another company. I did show him the home depot sign on the receipt. Then he said that they don't price match internet sales.

I'll just go to another HD and try my luck.

I have still a backorder status. I did get HD to match price on the DW ROS a while back. Not sure as of what to think of this.

Web site shows $240 now in stock. I guess my order will be cancelled too. Like an Amazon 3rd party deal price error again.

I'm kind of disappointed. Even though I didn't really need another jig saw, a deal (fix) like that to a tool junkie is kind of hard to come down from. All I got were the cancellation emails and no 10% discount offer.
