I cant resist a bargain,but Lowes had this fence /table system for 80.00 so I picked it up. It saidit wasoriginally 399 or something

Is there a post to show me how to put this to use on myBT3100?

Also, material hold down for the DW708 cms was 16.00 from 39.00.
The crown stops and length stop were not discounted,yet....

I don't know if your serious on the fence package or not, but there was/is at least one member who did something like that (I don't remember who). I don't know what fence they used (as Biesmeyer said it has to be a cast iron saw), but they added a table to the front and back of the saw, to change the depth, and then added a fence.
