Has anybody ever used the "Easy Coper?". If so, how did you like the results?

I bought it after crowning the living room with the old "Cut, test fit, readjust angle, cut, test fit, readjust angle...etc.. " No coping for me. As awesome as it came out, I swore I wouldn't go through that again and bought the EasyCoper for the next project. The demo video makes it look quite simple so we'll see. Next project is three months away.

I think Thom2 might have one or was contemplating getting one for a whole bunch of crown molding he had bought. But that was months ago so I'm sure he's installed it already. Maybe he'll post his experience, with or without the Easycoper.

I have not used the Easy Coper but I have that miter jig and it works good as long as you don't cut it (Whoops). Well I cut it just a little but I did some crown molding on kitchen cabinets using the miter jig and it turned out good.

I had a miserable time with crown molding in our home office. I despise it after that experience. So much worse than baseboard -- not only the angles but you're up at the ceiling so every time it doesn't fit it's a hassle to get it back onto the saw to make another cut. I have seen the videos of coping a piece so that two will fit together cleanly but I wasn't able to get the hang of it -- I really needed someone in person to show me how to do it.

So I was very interested in the easy coper. I'd love to find someone who had used it to see what their results were.

Good things said about it on Rockler from a couple of people:
