I wouldn't count on this, when Brian runs specials like this he's often either taking a loss or barely breaking even when you consider the free shipping. I for one wouldn't expect him to lose any more when he's already offering 50% off.

You might be right. I hadn't even checked into the details yet....didn't realize it was a 50% promo already. Best not to look a gift horse in the mouth!

An error message appears when I try to enter the BT310 discount code. My guess is that he has disabled it on this item, since it's already half off.

As a side note, be aware that the profile on the panel bit is a cove, as opposed to the more familiar (for some) 15-degree bevel.

I have a raised panel set from Holbren from a couple years back (great set) - which is the same as the link above. The Makita link shown looks to have an ogee profile to me....what do you guys think? The description doesnt say.
