Is there a Lowes part # for these? I've checked a couple of local stores but it doesn't seem like they've put them anywhere obvious, or they just plain don't have any. I'd like to be sure either way, though, by checking with a part #.

cgallery,
This is from Hoover's post of 7-27-2007. (Sorry but I haven't learned how to hyperlink to other threads.):
"Picked two of the Delta 50-345 mobile bases @ Lowe's on closeout for $12.00 each (max wt 300 lbs) Lowe's sku 77260"
Hope this helps. They had two at the local Lowe's yesterday. They were on the bottom shelf with TS accessories like push sticks, etc.
The different Lowes stores with 5 miles of home / work. Three different 'clearance' prices - $48, $36 and $12. I bought the two at the store that had them marked down to $12. Really seems to be up to the individual store management to decide exactly what to mark things down to. Last weekend I was in a Lowe shopping for some lighting. While I was there, they put out some Dremel kits for 50% off. Bought one for my wife. Noticed yesterday at a different Lowes they were not on clearance there.
Just went by the local Lowes and the $6 mobiles they had yesterday are now gone although the yellow $6 sticker is still on the shelf. The sticker showed the regular price as $59 or something like that. Can't post a receipt because I didn't buy one - had no need for one. I'm currently replacing my HF knockoffs with Ridgid Herc-u-lifts.

Now that they have no more they have increased the price on the yellow sticker back UP to $12.00. I thought when you didn't have any you could reduce the price even further. :-)
Reminds me of the story about the woman who asked the old farmer how much he wanted for a dozen eggs. He said, "They're a dollar a dozen." She told him that the farmer across the street sells them for 75 cents a dozen. He replied, "Well why don't you buy them across the street, then." She said, "Because he doesn't have any." The old farmer grinned and said, "Well, mam, if I didn't have any, mine would only be 50 cents a dozen."
