Sears Friends & Family 10% off August 19, 6-9 pm

Sears has a 10% off as part of their Family & Friends Event on Sunday, 19 August between 6pm and 9pm. Typically the discount is available online at the same time too.

I believe the 19th is also a Craftsman Club day. Did anyone get a club ad? Any great deals when combined with the F&F 10% discount?

What are the restrictions on that? (I see an it has terms and exclusions but can't read them).

If it CAN be combined with the Craftman club, the 21829 would be down to a decent price.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Assuming this can be combined with Craftsman Club, you could get the 22124 for $800 and change (CC price of $899-10%).

Traditionally one has always been able to combine CC and other discounts.

That should make for some of the better buying opportunities I've seen in a while:
          1. Orion made 22124 hybrid TS for ~ $800
          2. Rikon made 22401 14" BS w/8" resaw, light, fence, CI tap for ~ $380
          3. Orion made 21705 6" jointer for ~ $370
          4. Ryobi made 21829 BT clone on wheels w/RT for ~ $281

The 22114 is not in my current flyer...the 22124 and 21829 are the only TS shown.

Sears website shows the 22114 for $680, so you could get it Sunday night for ~ $612.

Could that be for August 18th? When I clicked the link for friends and family, every item listed on sale said through 8/18.
The add doesn't mention the day, but says from 6pm to 6am.

Tried that at a couple of Sears, but no soap. The odd Lowes or Home Depot will take them though (it depends on the manager, and the mood he's in).

                      Digital Plunge Router

Anyone used the 17517 Digital Plunge Router. Under CC it is 119.99, and with another 10% for this sale..might be a decent deal if it works.

It says 6pm-6am online hours, no date[s] mentioned. How do you know the date? Is it Sat pm-Sun am or Su-Mo? Usu. most items can be store P/U for no S&H if you order online.
CC dates are 8/19 - 8/25 so the discount should apply too. I did get a CC flyer, this time.

I found it on SlickDeals. In the past it has always started Sunday at 6 pm, i.e. after the store regularly closes. I haven't seen an email yet, but when they have had this sale before they wait until Sunday.

Killer deals with all these discounts. I just scored a CompuCarve for $1464, that’s including tax!

I REALLY wanted one of these right from the time when I first saw it. But, because of the price, instead of running right out to buy one the first day they hit the market I did allot of reading before making a decision. After reading the reviews, which spam the gambit from “I hate it, it sucks”, to “the greatest thing ever”, I have decided that the opinions are too skewed to rely solely on the reviews. I’ll just have to try it for myself in order to determine its worth. If anything, from what I gather, it will either A: work so well right out the box that it will nock my socks off or B: completely suck, in which case I will return it. With all the discounts today, the timing seemed right for me to pick one up and give it a go.

It appears as if it is not a stock item and the store I selected to pick it up from hasn't said when they will get it in yet so I will let you all know how I fair when it arrives, if you are interested.
