I heard about this and went to the store. This store hadn't even discounted it from 400 and gave quite an attitude when I asked for a lower price. I looked around the area and found one for $50.

The price variances at different stores is strange. I had a thought to return my fence to the first store for a 400 dollar credit but I guess that would be slightly dishonest, but that is their price in the store, so not really.

Could you post the receipt for the fence...$50..amazing.

My store claims not to match clearance prices on tools but I can only hope. Can someone that snagged a fence for $50 please post a receipt or mention what the website was that got their lowes to match the price. Thanks!

New to the forum also & this may be a dumb question.....but I see DTG posted his receipt for the Beisemeyer fence from Lowe's. I have seen in other threads people asking about receipts. Can someone explain the benefit of showing receipts.

        Thanks to all.

Sometimes some of the stores will price match it. Some stores will just not believe that you can buy them for the $80, so the receipt helps prove that stores are really selling it for that.

About 2 years ago I was out with wife and kids for dinner, on the way home we stopped at a Lowes in North East Philly. I walked by the tool dept and saw a New in the Box Jet Table Saw ($599 retail) marked with a yellow tag $75. It was on a flat wheeled cart. I looked around and saw a Lowes employee and asked about this saw. He told me that it was claimed by another customer just moments ago. The employee told me that they also sold the display for $50!! I asked him if this deal was going on at all the local stores, he told me that the saw was non stock so the manager's had the discression regarding pricing and they needed space in their store so they blew them out. I called a few other stores and was told NO WAY. So I figured I would make one more call and called Lowes home office. I had a nice conversation with the rep, no yelling or begging for the deal. He told me someone would call me back. Two days later the store manager from the local Lowes called me and told me to pick up my saw whenever I wanted for $75.
I was thrilled. And the saw was great. Now keep in mind that I have never called back, but once in a while it does not hurt to call customer service if you want to share your feedback

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was in the Montgomery, AL Lowe's last night, and they still have 1 Bies in the box on the shelf. Just thought I 'd let those here in Alabama know about it.

I have to admit, I'm tempted to grab a manager and see if I can haggle the price down some more. They've got to want to get rid of the thing.

FYI I just scored one for $100 at the Lynnwood WA Lowes. I had them do a locate and Lynwood was the only store in the area that had any. They were not in the tool area but against the wall by the rest rooms. They had it priced at $120 and the tool manager OK'd $100. They have one left. I knew there was a purpose for the $100 bill I have been carrying in my wallet for the last month!

I will be selling my like new Delta T2 fence, rails and extention table for $50 if any Seattle are folks are interested. I scanned my receipt as requested. (Double click the image to view it larger.)

Scottydont, did it just ring up at $100 or did you have to talk the manager down? Could you post a receipt?
