Saw this a couple days ago but the $215 shipping is a deal killer. I've exhausted every possibility I could think of trying to get this without paying for the ridiculous shipping but have had no luck. It ships from a warehouse in Illinois but they will not let you pick it up. I actually spoke with a very helpful person on the sears 800# who suggested ordering through a dealership instead of a department store or purchasing through an outlet store. No luck on both accounts. She was sympathetic but said there was nothing she could do. Supposedly thats what they get charged for shipping. yeah right.
I picked up this saw ~6 months ago. I had called every Sears from Hartford to Providence and found one for $350 including extended warranty. It's a very good saw and was worth the effort.
You could try the store finder page on www.sears.com and call around. Some of the hardware-only stores had the saw at a different price. They're probably all picked out by now, though. Good luck.
Sears in Montgomery, AL has 0 in stock, and the drone on the phone (who was somewhat rude) said that the system would not let him order any for store delivery.
Heck, if I could've gotten it at the store or avoided the shipping, I'd order it and let one of you buy my BT3100. Looks like I'll be using the 3100 for a while longer.
