    Wood Deal In Central PA

I can get a hold of the following over the next few days. Folks, this stuff is NICE. The curly maple is crazy. I was just at Hearne Hardwood today and equal curly maple (heavy figure clear 2 sides) was $11.50 bf.

I can offer the following stuff:

    In 4/4:

Walnut (log run...some FAS, some #1 common) $2.25
    Cherry (select and better) $3.25
    Soft Maple (S&B) $2.00
    Hard Maple (S&B) 3.00
More of that quartersawn white oak like you have
Wide Red Oak (some VERY NICE, VERY Clean sticks) 2.50
Curly Maple 4/4 (WICKED figure) $6.00

    Additional thickness avail.

For those of you without jointer/planer I will S4S and cut to any size for $.50 bf additional. Understand that prices are based upon rough sizing, ie 4/4 pre-planing = 3/4 after. I will ship via UPS so lengths will need to be limited to UPS standard (have to check that). Shipping from 17406. You must pay PayPal fee as I am selling this stuff for my actual cost and don't want to loose money on the deal. I don't have PayPal fee schedule in front of me right now but we can figure that out.
Please EMAIL me instead of PM.

I 'm theoretically interested, Jeff ... will send you an email.

Here's some info from the UPS web site that may prove useful:

Weight and Size Limits for Packages
UPS has established specific weight and size limits for the packages that you send with all UPS services. The restrictions below only pertain to individual packages. There are no limits to the total weight of your shipment or the total number of packages in your shipment.

    * Packages can be up to 150 lbs (70 kg)
    * Packages can be up to 165 inches (419 cm) in length and girth combined
    * Packages can be up to 108 inches (270 cm) in length
    * Packages that weigh more than 70 lbs (31.5 kg, 25 kg within the EU) require a special heavy-package label and will be subject to an Additional Handling Charge
    * Packages with a large size-to-weight ratio require special pricing and dimensional weight calculations

Note: Packages that exceed UPS weight and size limits are subject to an Over Maximum Limits charge.

The limits listed above apply to most packages and destinations, but there are some variances because of different local restrictions in some countries. Please contact UPS for more details.

    * * * * * * *

I am under the impression that the 20BF "project packs" that several online wood vendors offer contain that many board feet because that's about the limit for a standard 70-pound UPS shipment for boards of a reasonable length (four to six feet seems common).

Ya, my local driver will pick up to 150 from me, however it is actually cheaper to split into two 75 lb packages for some reason. I guess to discourage 150lb packages. I am thinking 6ft is limit.

That statement "more QSWO like you have" refers to load I got couple weeks ago from this guy.

QSWO during lumber run was $5. I imagine I can get it for around $3 or so. Course I might need to keep it all!
