    Woodcraft 10%+ coupon postcard

I just got a Woodcraft coupon/postcard today in the mail. It is good for 10% off your order plus you can scratch off 1 of 4 gold boxes to receive an additional discount. You can only scratch off one box, and it has to be in front of the store clerk. The sale is good for July 28 only.

    HERE'S THE GOOD PART
I'm going to be out of town on the 28th, so I went ahead and scratched off all of the boxes. Assuming all of the cards have the same hidden items (I bet they do) this may be of some help to others.

The four available scratch-off discounts, going clockwise from the top left are:

    1. $10 gift card for use on your next visit
    2. 5% off your purchase today
    3. 10% off wood glues and finishes
    4. 10% off all Freud saw blades

    Hope this helps someone...

    I'll be checking my mail!
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

Thanks for the details on the scratch-off boxes! When i received the card i was thinking that they probably were all the same, but how to find someone to scratch them off ahead of time.

Awesome - they have a air cleaner on sale too - does it say sale prices excluded?

There are a lot of exclusions (no power tools, etc.) on the extra discounts (the ones under the scratch-off), but the first 10% applies to just about everything. Also, note that the manager in my store went ahead and gave me the 10% off today on my new band saw and mobile base. He fooled the computer by entering the merchandise on a "Work Order" and then applying the discount manually. And then he gave me the postcard back so that I can come back and use it on the 28th. YMMV, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

So, you went for the Rikon 10-325, Cracker?
