I do believe you are correct sir. Even if they drop the price on the system itself in the future you'd still need to buy the screws. I also got to use my $10 gift card I got after they delayed another order.

I bought the same set of screws from rockler last year at thanksgiving for $10 (if i can remember correctly). but here is a link to a place that you can pocket screws of different sizes and type for less and this may be a better option. worth looking at.
