Has anyone used this WORX brand circ. saw?

    Is it worth the money?

I was saving up to get myself either:
Makita Hypoid saw, Bosch Worm drive saw or Skill 77M.

basically, I am more comfortable with blade on the left of the saw (I am right handed).

However, if this is a VERY good deal, maybe this one can get me by until I am able to trade up (IF that is needed at all)..

I have been in the mind set of cry once and smile forever type.. However, this being all time low price (about 55% off the high - I think high was somewhere around $165) I am thinking that even trading up later would not give me much of loss.

...and I was close to pulling the trigger on the P-C 325MAG. This saw seems to be similar in power and has magnesium base and blade guard but DC may be worse.

I have not use this saw but have handled their other tools. Their reciprocating saw is very heavy and solid.

        Don't know if this helps.

Only one review on Amazon, but it was postitive. I have seen one comparison review with the Worx saw in included (don't remember where) and it came in middle of the pack with the Milwaukee in the lead.

At the $63+ price it seems hard to go wrong on a 15A saw.

Worx does offer a dust port for it and over at Eurekazone.com you can find plans for a clear dust shield to help direct it towards it. (don't have permission to repost the plans, but here is a gallery link to give you the idea)

That said, I still prefer a worm drive saw, because of how much longer they seem to last (and parts replacement, etc). One former neighbor (roofer), used and abused his worm drive saw (including dropping), and would buy a circular saw when his was being rebuilt. He always went back to the worm drive.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Oh no...I'm getting close on this one. I need a saw for my new EZ Smart System and would like a saw with a brake but their $100 more than this one.
