Purdy paint brushes at Building 19

I had some time to kill on my lunch break, so I wandered into Building 19 in Burlington. Along with the usual junk, they had Purdy paint brushes.

The 1 1/2" brushes were $2.99 and they worked their way up to $5.99. They had XL and Nylox, mostly in angled styles but some straight.

They were missing the cardboard sleeve, but they all seemed to be in fine condition anyway.

Being Building 19, who knows what selection they might have at the other locations, or even if they have any at all, so you probably want to call first.

    What's a Building 19? Is it in Area 51?

Every tool you own is broken, you just don't know it yet :-)

Building 19, http://www.building19.com/, is a bit like Area 51 - you never know who or what you may find there. They are a purveyor of "good stuff cheap" in MA, NH and RI.

The "stuff" ranges from clothes to food to tools. I fond that it tends to be either "good" or "cheap", but not both. For example, the clothes are seconds and are often stained, most of the food products are past their date and sometimes even open and most of the tools can be bent by a 2 year old though you'll sometimes find a quality item like a Ridgid tool bag for $80.

If you get really lucky, you'll sometimes find a good deal on something you might actually want to buy.

Edit: I made it sound a bit worse than it actually is. They do have a lot of junk, but they have some decent stuff too and it's always a surprise to see what you might find.

Sounds like an Oddlots / Biglots Store, or maybe that is what they call it around there.
