Anyone get the - Porter Cable 892DT Router Combo Pack (4212 w/892)?

This is the kit lots of us jumped on in early May for around $165 .

I just looked and the ship date has now moved to the end of August .

Anyone have experience with this kind of delay or is Amazon hoping we cancel?

Mine had an expected delivery date of this week and then today...

"Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've
since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this
time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize
for the inconvenience we have caused you."

Someone should complain and see if Amazon will compensate with a discount code of some sort. Unfortunately, I'm lacking in ambition so it won't be me.

We should all complain and have them send us the Router and Dovetail Jig since they are still available separately. I know it'll never happen, just wishful thinking.

I didn't get in on this deal (I wish I had), but since both items are available from Amazon individually, I would think you guys have a case to be made. They probably don't want to admit that they made a pricing mistake and instead are trying to use this as an excuse so I would call them on it.

Well it hasn't been canceled yet so I'll have to wait and see. But I agree we should be compensated since we ordered in good faith when they showed merchandise in stock. If I get canceled I'll complain and see what happens.

I am really disappointed I didn't get this order. When I ordered it the page said they had 5 or so in stock but it was never shipped. At least they gave me the $15.00. Worth an e-mail if you received the same e-mail as I did.

I got $25 and I asked for a rain check just in case they magically get some in the future. Maybe 1 day after they cancel all the orders.
