    Woodcraft Anti-Fatigue Floor Mats $14.99

Anyone use these? Are they more like the 2 x 2 squares or are they denser like the runner material at BORG?

They are about 2 ft by 4-5ft. I got them at Tampa woodworking show at 2 for $20. Sure beats standing on the concrete garage floor. Probably about 3/8 in thick. Can't speak to durability yet.

The listing says they're 2' x 5'. Also that the color may vary -- green, black, or brown.

Note that there's free ground shipping on orders of $75 or more. Valid thru the end of June.

I think I just might try a couple of these mats ... anyone else have any experience with them?

i've stepped on them at the store several times. very nice. but i haven't pulled the trigger yet. i don't get enough shop time to make this worth it at this point

        maybe some day...

also it seems this is always the going rate at my local woodcraft. don't hold me to it, but 15 doesn't sound like unfamilar. FWIW.

Well, that may be. A half-hour ago, the listing showed $14.99/ea if you bought one or two mats, and $28.50/ea (IIRC) if you bought three or more. Obviously that didn't make sense, but I wrote it off to the assumption that the $14.99 is a sale price. Now, the list says $11.99/ea for three or more, and there's no indication that these are sale prices. (When Woodcraft has something on sale, the listing typically shows the regular price in black, and the sale price in red.)

If anyone is staying close to Harbor Frieght, you can get that 4 piece interlocking anti-fatigue mats for 8$. I bought those last week and they are awesome quality. Just like the colorful play mats that the kids use but in black color. Give it a shot. I love it. Very good quality.

I picked up one mat last year while shopping at Woodcraft. After first day of use, I wanted more, but next visit to the store, they were gone. Been looking for them ever since.

I also have the HF mats and to compare the differences:

              Woodcraft model
              1. Great cushion
              2. Stays in place
              3. Easily slides out of the way for clean-up by lifting one edge.
              3. Size is very convenient, fits between benches and tools.

              HF
              1. Ok cushion
2 Does not stay in place, Too light weight. Wind will move it around.
              3. When moving, it catches on everything pulling it apart, causing to bend down and put it back together
              4. All together, size in not convenient. Separated will have the zippered edges which catch on everything.

I have the HF mats and they're great. Pocket the extra $7.00
